Alderly Beaver Scouts

Beaver Scouts are from 6 to 8 years old. A Beaver group is called a colony and they are the youngest members of the Scout Movement. They meet once a week in term time. What do Beavers do ? They go on outings visiting Fire Stations, day visits to campsites. They go on nature walks. Some have gone toboganing at the Snowdome, visited Jodrell Bank, Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet.

The Beaver Motto is "Fun and Friends", at their meeting they will do crafts, non cook cooking, science experiments, learn about safety in the home and outside, learn about other countries and people. Eating healthy, keeping fit, looking after themselves. Working together, playing games. Try new things, washing up, planting seeds etc.
